Galileo's Bright Idea

Galileo Galilei lived from 1564-1642. He realized a bigger idea of the Universe through the study of light and invention of the telescope. He applied his invention upward to the night skies and revealed a new perspective to the world…but nobody wanted to listen. Some people wanted to place a bushel over his light.

This talk celebrates the 400th anniversary of the telescope and relates Galileo's work to parables about light. We allow no bushel to cover our individual brilliance and move beyond any idea of ‘Inquisition’ into celebrating and expressing our own genius in all of our activities.

An opening meditation about light followed by an affirmative prayer (spiritual mind treatment) establishing the consciousness for the day.
