LML- Introduction

Recent news events evoked emotions of sadness for me. A man chose violence directed toward his family and himself. What was he thinking? Why might he think violence was the best idea? He needed a new thought.

I am working on some new ideas on this area. I invite you go to Love My Life Now or cut and paste http://lovemylifenow.org into your browser. Read the stories people are sharing about how they 'Love My Life'. Write your story.

Check out the philosophy of the site and tips on writing stories.
LML is a perspective and an attitude of living that celebrates us individually and then spills over to a greater community.

Ready For A New Thought

This week I gave a guest talk at Center for Spiritual Living White Plains, New York. I'm still thinking about the ways that New Thought thinking can be articulated and serve as an inspiration for greater living. Listen to this meditation and lesson and see the opportunities to put New Thought into your life.

My experience of the Divine includes those awesome moments where I sense something larger than myself. Let this guided meditation take you there.

Emerson, Quimby, Hopkins, Fillmore, Brooks, Troward and Holmes all described a creative and healing universe. Thoughts are things! Thoughts are real. And now is the time to use this philosphy to bring out an even greater idea of life.
The Soul’s Communication of truth is the highest event in nature, since it then does not give somewhat from itself, but it gives itself, or passes into and becomes that man whom it enlightens; or in proportion to that truth he receives, it takes him to itself.

Galileo's Bright Idea

Galileo Galilei lived from 1564-1642. He realized a bigger idea of the Universe through the study of light and invention of the telescope. He applied his invention upward to the night skies and revealed a new perspective to the world…but nobody wanted to listen. Some people wanted to place a bushel over his light.

This talk celebrates the 400th anniversary of the telescope and relates Galileo's work to parables about light. We allow no bushel to cover our individual brilliance and move beyond any idea of ‘Inquisition’ into celebrating and expressing our own genius in all of our activities.

An opening meditation about light followed by an affirmative prayer (spiritual mind treatment) establishing the consciousness for the day.
